Update 5/8

Over the past few days I submitted the two papers I was working on for publishing. I sent them to the journals that requested/suggested specific changes. One of the papers was much longer than the previous version. I hope that isn’t an issue.

I am also dealing with the insurance company concerning my automobile accident. The latest information is that the vehicle is considered a “total loss” (the cost to repair is more than the value of the vehicle or it cannot be repaired). So it looks like I will be paid the value of the vehicle with the expectation that I will purchase a new one. What a surprise! I actually like my vehicle. Before the accident, it was in excellent condition.

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
