Good morning from Linden! I am feeling much better. My eye hurts less and the swelling has gone down. I am also happy that I saw another family member from the US yesterday.

The “house” smells like mangoes. There is air freshener in the room but its scent is mild (because of the mangoes). This is interesting because the actual scent in the room does not match the expected scent (the scent expected based on the air freshener you see in the room). Imagine the confusion this might cause in a room filled with things such as pine scones or just-baked cheese rolls, but does not match the smell you know must be there.

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
