Previous posts on strategies to increase comfort

I would like to look back at two of my favorite posts (in this blog). The posts are on strategies to increase comfort.

The first of the two identified things that provide comfort, such as air conditioning (A/C) and music. I completed that post in about 3 minutes.

I think my mind/brain continued to ponder things that provide comfort. Later, it became clear to me that the scarf I wore when at rehab (which was right after my hospital stay and needed to walk normally again) provided comfort. The bulky scarf may have signaled to others that I find the indoor temperature too cold. I just felt like wearing it because of deep meaning.

I sucked my thumb as a child. I believe that was related to comfort.

FEATURED

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.

About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.

I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. My main area of specialization is usability/user experience. Click on the ‘usability’ tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag.

I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
