Dietary Restrictions

I had Guyanese black pudding yesterday. It is made with animal blood. I recall that I asked about dietary restrictions for Christians during bible study at the Wildercroft Church of Christ. I was told that the dietary restrictions from the Old Testament (the need to stay away from foods such as pork meals and blood) are no longer restrictions. Christians could eat whatever they want but must pray for the food to be blessed before eating.

I found an interesting article on this topic that informed me of different viewpoints on the issue. I was not aware of the debates on the topic.

I had a lot of the black pudding. The version of the pudding without blood – white pudding – was not present.

FEATURED

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.

About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.

I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. My main area of specialization is usability/user experience. Click on the ‘usability’ tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag.

I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
