A question I don’t like to be asked

Daily writing prompt
What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.

I continue to receive good feedback when I respond to prompts. I will continue to respond to them.

Responding to the WordPress prompt for today 3/6/2024:

I was always known as inquisitive. I usually ask a lot of questions. People ask me a lot of questions also. In the United States, people like to ask me where I am from. They also ask about my parents, my background, where I am working, and so on. The questions I don’t like to be asked begin with: Are you really …….? Examples are: Are you really X years old? Are you really going to do X? I generally don’t like these questions because the questioner already has an opinion (i.e. there is disbelief about what they are asking) and wants me to present an argument for my view of the truth.

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.

About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.

I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. My main area of specialization is usability/user experience. Click on the ‘usability’ tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag.

I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
