Crowdfunding for research

 I was not aware that researchers are turning to crowdfunding to fund their research. (This article provided the information that researchers are gathering donations from the general public to fund their research: https://www.nature.com/nature-index/news/how-to-crowdfund-your-research-science-experiment-grant). It is a great idea, but I know some people “look down” on those who ask friends and the general public for funds for a personal or professional reason. I am not certain I want to join in this funding trend. I will continue trying for grants.

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
