Publishing Goal

This World Book Day, I continue to pursue my goal of publishing papers in journals and also publishing books. I was on a break for a while when I traveled to Guyana but I returned to working towards the goal (from Guyana, where I am right now). I am certain I will join the ranks of published author by the end of the year. I am thinking that a number of my works will be published by reputable publishers by the end of the year. (There is some confidence for you! – I am speaking/thinking things into existence.)

I hope to publish my personal book of poems within the next 2 or 3 months. I posted about submitting the poems just recently (post: https://fahmeenaodetta.blogspot.com/2024/04/submitted-poems.html). Thank you for your feedback on the post.

March, march, marching towards the goal! It is a propitious target.

FEATURED

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.

About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.

I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. My main area of specialization is usability/user experience. Click on the ‘usability’ tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag.

I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
