Question: What’s the hardest lesson you’ve had to learn as an adult, and how has it shaped you?
One of the hardest things I’ve had to learn as an adult is that life isn’t fair (the most unfair things happen when you least expect it). I have seen many times that people don’t always get what they deserve, horrible things happen to good people, and so on. It taught me that I had to fight for what I want. It also taught me I should trust in Almighty God.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
