Inside Fahmeena Odetta's Head

Fahmi Explained

I am called “Fahmi” at home. Fahmi is short for Fahmeena. I don’t use the name Fahmi at work. This happened because I always used Fahmeena at school. All my certificates and other records show Fahmeena. So that’s it.

I feel better today. There has been so much sleeping recently maybe because of the heat or maybe because of the medication. All this sleeping will cause me to gain weight. I try to eat less but I still eat. I like to enjoy ice cream or other not-so-healthy foods from time to time. I had the big breakfast from McDonald’s recently. Today I enjoyed a cup of tea with sugar. I need to be more active. I wish I had a treadmill. I am thinking of starting another blog to use life lessons for weight loss like I did last time.

My glass mug broke. I don’t believe it. I found my GW mug I bought over 20 years ago.

FEATURED

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.

About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.

I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. My main area of specialization is usability/user experience. Click on the ‘usability’ tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag.

I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
