Not so well today; Measles

 I feel out of sorts today. I will not be doing much. I wish the appointment with my primary care physician was today. It is not, however. The appointment is about 8 days away via video. Maybe I should have scheduled an in-person appointment so that I could receive shots. I would like the MMR vaccine and a flu shot.

I requested the MMR vaccine a while back after reading about an outbreak of measles in the U.S. I don’t want measles again. I had measles quite young. I must have had the measles vaccine then (I really don’t remember). I remember receiving a measles vaccine (MMR) over 20 years ago in order to meet vaccine requirements at The George Washington University (GW). 

I see that measles is still a problem.

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
