Experience as an auditor

Remembering (throwing back to) my days at the Office of the DC Auditor. The work was interesting and I became a much better writer. I worked on several audits/reviews. One of the audits I worked on was the audit of ANC 4C. The (published) report is available at: https://dcauditor.org/report/audit-of-advisory-neighborhood-commission-4c-for-fiscal-years-2000-through-2003-as-of-march-31-2003/. You can tell that I contributed to the report from the code shown on the title page (016:03:FM:gk). I was a main contributor. Looking back at it, I don’t believe I included so many tables! I like them a lot. They work in the report. Another assignment was to assist a Senior Auditor with a parking meter audit (I guess I was a member of the audit team). I liked being on location at an office on U Street. The audit included a review of finances (parking meter revenues) but it was a performance audit.

FEATURED

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.

About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.

I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. My main area of specialization is usability/user experience. Click on the ‘usability’ tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag.
