Update
Good morning from Linden, Guyana! I heard that there were Mashramani festivities in Linden yesterday. I was not in attendance. I went out shopping with my mother yesterday. We picked up quite a few items (drinks, cheese, eggs, and so on) from several supermarkets in Amelia’s Ward. I had some of the cheese. It was… Continue reading

Papaw
I like papaw/papaya a whole lot, but I found a blogger who likes papaw even more. (Link to her blog post: https://steemit.com/fruitarian/@adamantine/my-favourite-fruits-papaya). Papaw is in a top spot for the blogger. It is second to the watermelon. It is not in such a high position for me. I eat a lot of it because of… Continue reading

Responding to the WordPress Daily Writing Prompt for today 3/3/2024: Three objects I cannot live without include: my glasses; utensils, especially a drinking glass; and a mobile phone or tablet. I need my glasses to see properly. I wear my glasses every day. I need a drinking glass to drink water, which is essential for… Continue reading

Crowdfunding
In 2014, I used KickStarter.com to obtain funding for LifeLessonsForAll.com. It was good experience – the first time I used crowdfunding for a project. I learned a lot. Backers or investors can range from the small/average man to financial institutions. Crowdfunding can be used to finance not only small projects but large-scale projects and businesses… Continue reading

Another Paper in ResearchGate
I added another paper as a preprint in ResearchGate. The paper was created from a PhD assignment (for Northcentral University’s PhD-Level Business Environment course) to use theories to create a marketing plan. Paper in ResearchGate
I added my paper on technology solutions for hand hygiene compliance as a preprint in ResearchGate. The paper was based on a signature assignment I prepared at Northcentral University (w.taskstream.com/ts/moore783/SignatureAssignmentProposalMonitoring.html/acf5e6eq00akfcfkf7e8edfefl). View the preprint here: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/378547801_Are_Technology_Solutions_For_Hand_Hygiene_Compliance_A_Better_Option_For_Improving_Compliance_Rates. I made a lot of changes to the signature assignment paper. It is significant for a discussion on the economics of… Continue reading

ABOUT ME
I am working to be published. In the next few months, I would like to publish my PhD papers as well as lessons from my life.
I am on a break from PhD studies at National University, formerly Northcentral University (NCU). At NU, I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. Usability/user experience is one of my topics. Click on the ‘usability’ label/tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. I have new ideas you may be interested in. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag. If you are curious about my choices about God, click on the ‘WhyGodForever’ label.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
