Paper Revisions
I received emails about revising one or more of my papers submitted for publishing. I will look closely at what is requested. My computer still does not work so making edits at this time will be an issue. This reminds me of the hand hygiene paper that needed editing when I was in rehab in… Continue reading

Update
I was temporarily offline because of phone problems. I also had other problems (since I came to Guyana) such as debit/credit card problems. I even had problems with the hotel room shower. I am at a particular hotel because my debit/credit card works there (I am not implying that there are usually problems at the… Continue reading

Thoughts
Good morning from Georgetown, Guyana! I am feeling stuffy today. I hope it will be a good day. There are a lot of things I don’t understand. I am trusting in Almighty God. I am thinking of the movie I saw of the Indian guy who survived the tiger while stranded at sea. That was… Continue reading

Success
I have a post in my blog on some of my father’s ideas for success. I thank him for his support. See the post here: https://fahmeenaodetta.blogspot.com/2022/08/happiness.html?m=1 Continue reading

Analysis of Data
I used a lot of publicly available information on individuals for my Lessons Project. I did not contact all the individuals for additional data. I did contact some for comment. I apologize for any negative impacts tothose individuals. There are sometimes unauthorized biographies. I selected individuals that were different – from different cultures, and so… Continue reading

Thoughts from Georgetown, Guyana
Everyone wants to be beautiful, but what is on the inside counts. I believe I am beautiful inside and out (of course, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder). I am a lot fatter now – I was skinny. I would like to lose the weight. Continue reading

Different perspectives
Thoughts on competition Some may say nice guys finish last, but there are different perspectives on this. I recall reading about being likeable on LinkedIn. Giving back (sharing the bread) is also popular and it is not only a Christian thing. That may fall under ‘never taking more than you give’ from that Lion King… Continue reading
ABOUT ME
I am working to be published. In the next few months, I would like to publish my PhD papers as well as lessons from my life.
I am on a break from PhD studies at National University, formerly Northcentral University (NCU). At NU, I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. Usability/user experience is one of my topics. Click on the ‘usability’ label/tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. I have new ideas you may be interested in. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag. If you are curious about my choices about God, click on the ‘WhyGodForever’ label.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
