Debates
I like debates. I grew up hearing all sorts of arguments and seeing people take different positions on issues. Sometimes I wondered why people are so biased. I recall that students at PC participated in several inter-school debates (this reminds me of Karen Renata Bonnett since she was on the debate team). I was never… Continue reading

Water
The drink mix by Pur is clearly a substitute for Crystal Light. I just used it to flavor my water (see pic below). A long time ago, my aunt Gloria introduced me to Crystal Light. I kept using it to flavor my water for years and years. I didn’t know about the Pur drink mix.… Continue reading

ORCID Profile
What colleges have you attended? A short while ago, I updated my ORCID profile which shows my education (degrees/diplomas). I completed three degrees at three different schools/colleges. Currently, the main information in the profile includes a summary and my education (it is a work-in-progress). Here is a challenge: If you had only my current ORCID… Continue reading

Dry Skin
I like cocoa butter because it does marvelous things to my skin. I am using it today to moisturize my dry skin. I use Red Fox Tub O’Butter. Years ago (about 20 years ago), I used Palmers cocoa butter. I used it everyday and I smelled like cocoa. Red Fox Tub O’ Butter is different… Continue reading

Insurance Update
My insurance company requested information on my car accident so I provided it. I hope my insurance issue will be resolved soon. (In case you are wondering, YES – I am insured with GEICO and I also worked there. Just coincidence of course. At GEICO, I worked on requirements/user stories for a new system. I… Continue reading

Exercise
My paragraphs for the exercise on telling fact from fiction: I like the outdoors. I like the blue sky, the trees, rivers, lakes, and relaxing on the grass. I like trees and the fruits they manufacture. I enjoy spending time by the lake even when it is filthy. I enjoy waiting for hours in a… Continue reading

Unexpected Issues After Accident
Have you ever been in an automobile accident? I was in an automobile accident a few months ago. The accident occurred in front of a shopping center (strip mall) in a fairly nice neighborhood. I was driving by the shopping center. A guy in a red vehicle was leaving the shopping center and failed to… Continue reading
ABOUT ME
I am working to be published. In the next few months, I would like to publish my PhD papers as well as lessons from my life.
I am on a break from PhD studies at National University, formerly Northcentral University (NCU). At NU, I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. Usability/user experience is one of my topics. Click on the ‘usability’ label/tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. I have new ideas you may be interested in. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag. If you are curious about my choices about God, click on the ‘WhyGodForever’ label.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
