Paper On Use Of IS Success Model
I recently submitted another article for publishing. That paper was a signature assignment submitted to ncu.edu for grading many years ago. It was on the use of technology to monitor employees to improve compliance and performance in the area of hand hygiene.(Link to the Signature Assignment paper: https://w.taskstream.com/ts/moore783/SignatureAssignmentProposalMonitoring.html/acf5e6eq00akfcfkf7e8edfefl) I made few edits to it. I… Continue reading

First Word For The Week
Word for today: EvinceEvince means to display clearly, to reveal (From: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/evince) I like the explanations provided with the definition of the word, especially the first section showing the synonyms. There are many synonyms (such as show, manifest, and evidence) that all mean ‘to reveal outwardly or make apparent.’ However, there are slight variations in… Continue reading

Flashback Friday On Golden Apples
FlashbackFriday Remembering the delicious fruit drinks and icicles my great aunt was known for. I especially liked the golden apple drink – drink/juice made from golden apples. It was really good. There is no golden apple-flavored “soft drink” available in stores (much like there is a tangerine soft drink – Icee Tangerine – available for… Continue reading

Next Paper
I am about to select the next paper to work on for publishing. I am not sure which paper I should select. There is the literature review that focused on online reviews. I was told the paper is too long. I still want to publish my decision-making framework though. There is also the paper I… Continue reading

Death In Family, Stranded In New York, And Another Example Of Ambidexterity
A great aunt of mine died recently. She was the mom of Sonia who also died recently. I have fond memories of that great aunt, Aunt Magnel. She gave me lots of food. I ate a lot of her cassava balls (we called puff), her dhal puri, her pholourie, and her icicles – all stuff… Continue reading

Organizational Structure Paper
I made a lot of progress on the organizational structure paper. I decided to include two examples of how companies are structured to compare to the theory. The findings are interesting. I think the paper will be accepted for publishing. Continue reading

Still Working On Paper For Publishing
After reviewing one of my old blogs, I now understand why I selected the three articles included in the paper mentioned yesterday. In the paper prepared the previous week (during the course), I noticed that the selected company – Google – was known for: “an innovation-oriented and change-prone top management and board;an innovation-oriented and change-prone… Continue reading

ABOUT ME
I am the author of a new and different poembook on a section of my life. In the next few months, I would like to publish more of my PhD papers as well as more lessons from my life.
I am on a break from PhD studies at National University, formerly Northcentral University (NCU). At NU, I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments are available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
Bio:
For a long time, I worked in auditing, finance, and information technology. I excelled at financial reporting, analysis, modeling, and training. I wrote a lot at work. I wrote analysis reports, plans, and tons of emails to communicate issues and such. At some point, I decided to pursue a PhD to qualify for special teaching positions. One of my advantages was my multidisciplinary background, including experience in several areas, which I made work for me in my PhD papers. During a break from my PhD, I decided to write about my childhood using poetry. It turned out to be very successful.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. Usability/user experience is one of my topics. Click on the ‘usability’ label/tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. I have new ideas you may be interested in. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag. If you are curious about my choices about God, click on the ‘WhyGodForever’ label.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
