Travel and Linden
My last post included a paper/journal article on the trustworthiness of travel and tourism information on Ethiopia available on social media. I know that there are a lot of travel resources online. There are websites such as https://www.visitmaryland.org/ that promotes Maryland, USA. There is the Visit Guyana page in Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/gotoguyana/), and much more. Years… Continue reading

Posts On Journal Articles
I found some interesting journal articles that informed me of issues and made me think of “possibilities.” I wrote about them in LinkedIn. Here are the posts: Post 1 My issue today: automation. Just yesterday, I wrote that systems will be assisting with the creation of diagrams in software development (see post: https://fahmeenaodetta.blogspot.com/2022/07/change.html). ABOUT ME
I am the author of a new and different poembook on a section of my life. In the next few months, I would like to publish more of my PhD papers as well as more lessons from my life.
I am on a break from PhD studies at National University, formerly Northcentral University (NCU). At NU, I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments are available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
Bio:
For a long time, I worked in auditing, finance, and information technology. I excelled at financial reporting, analysis, modeling, and training. I wrote a lot at work. I wrote analysis reports, plans, and tons of emails to communicate issues and such. At some point, I decided to pursue a PhD to qualify for special teaching positions. One of my advantages was my multidisciplinary background, including experience in several areas, which I made work for me in my PhD papers. During a break from my PhD, I decided to write about my childhood using poetry. It turned out to be very successful.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. Usability/user experience is one of my topics. Click on the ‘usability’ label/tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. I have new ideas you may be interested in. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag. If you are curious about my choices about God, click on the ‘WhyGodForever’ label.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
