Flights to Guyana
Caribbean Airlines currently has a sale (special pricing) on flights to Guyana. The timing is perfect. I can fly there very soon. I need to think through accommodation. I need to stay in Georgetown. Continue reading

Writing prompt
Writing prompt: What do you love now, that you hated when you were younger? I do a lot of the same things I did when I was young. For example, I still wash and take care of my face. I remember I used a lot of Noxzema during high school. I still like to read… Continue reading

Update again
I was able to connect and talk with a doctor on kp.org today. I used new system functionality to speak with someone within five minutes (obtain an immediate appointment). I liked it. The doctor was very helpful and the video was clear. I will use it when I need to. I like video appointments but… Continue reading

I Trust
I am up early today. I thank God for a new day. I will be going to the library in a few hours. Two very, very good gospel songs I am listening to: My God Is Awesome – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YJ4vddbJJo “Why He is awesome: He’s mighty, He’s holy, He’s great” He Knows My Name – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXsiWoyjw60… Continue reading

Weird or strange coincidences
I created a new tag/label: weird coincidences. https://fahmeenaodetta.com/tag/weirdcoincidences/, https://fahmeenaodetta.blogspot.com/search/label/weirdcoincidences Do you pay attention to reported weird things or coincidences? Do you think/believe they have deep meaning? Do you believe some are fraud? Continue reading

Funding
I submitted my poem book to two publishing houses. Both responded and I selected what I believed to be the better deal. I paid upfront (with some assistance). At this time, I do not have to pay for marketing and other promotion costs. I did not think of GoFundMe or other crowdfunding platforms to publish… Continue reading

Book
I am currently writing about the writing process, influences for my book, and so on for my publisher’s publicity/marketing department. It is more involved than I thought. I think it is important and I want to do a good job. Continue reading

Computer games
I enjoy playing games on the computer. I once purchased Monopoly on a cd. The purchase allowed me to play Monopoly without other human players – I played with multiple “computer” players (AI). Tetris, Pac-man, and Chinese checkers are other examples of games I play on the computer. This post reminds me of life in… Continue reading

Unable to reach by phone
Please note that my phone is temporarily not working. The phone (device) has serious issues. I hope I will be able to restore service again soon. In times like this, you have to cut back on expenses and do without some things (at least for a while). Continue reading
ABOUT ME
I am working to be published. In the next few months, I would like to publish my PhD papers as well as lessons from my life.
I am on a break from PhD studies at National University, formerly Northcentral University (NCU). At NU, I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. Usability/user experience is one of my topics. Click on the ‘usability’ label/tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. I have new ideas you may be interested in. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag. If you are curious about my choices about God, click on the ‘WhyGodForever’ label.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
