Happiness Day
I learned from a Facebook post that it is International Happiness Day! My thoughts on happiness: Happiness makes me think of things that Bring a smile to my face or bring laughter or are associated with comfort. Sometimes you feel getting everything you want will bring happiness But I am old enough to know it… Continue reading

Paper in ResearchGate
I added my paper on technology solutions for hand hygiene compliance as a preprint in ResearchGate. The paper was based on a signature assignment I prepared at Northcentral University (w.taskstream.com/ts/moore783/SignatureAssignmentProposalMonitoring.html/acf5e6eq00akfcfkf7e8edfefl). View the preprint here: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/378547801_Are_Technology_Solutions_For_Hand_Hygiene_Compliance_A_Better_Option_For_Improving_Compliance_Rates. I made a lot of changes to the signature assignment paper. It is significant for a discussion on the economics of… Continue reading

Seeing or Viewpoint
Good morning from Linden, Guyana! I got up early today. I am remembering one of my favorite posts that showed how your angle determines what you see. I used photographs of a house for sale in the post to highlight what someone would see from different positions – similar to the different angles/views in Technical… Continue reading

Previous posts on strategies to increase comfort
I would like to look back at two of my favorite posts (in this blog). The posts are on strategies to increase comfort. The first of the two identified things that provide comfort, such as air conditioning (A/C) and music. I completed that post in about 3 minutes. I think my mind/brain continued to ponder… Continue reading

Bible verse
Darkness is associated with evil. Isn’t it interesting that eyes are associated with light? John 12:35-37 Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” Continue reading

What I hope people say
Today’s WordPress prompt: Tell us one thing you hope people say about you. My response: I hope people say I am accomplished and inventive. Over the years, I have accomplished a lot. I was fast out of the gate. In primary and secondary schools, I was attending classes with older students (I was the youngest… Continue reading

I praise the Lord
I have many reasons to praise God. I am thankful I survived my surgery. I am happy that I can write good papers, and so on. My verse for today: James 4:7New International Version 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Continue reading
ABOUT ME
I am working to be published. In the next few months, I would like to publish my PhD papers as well as lessons from my life.
I am on a break from PhD studies at National University, formerly Northcentral University (NCU). At NU, I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. Usability/user experience is one of my topics. Click on the ‘usability’ label/tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. I have new ideas you may be interested in. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag. If you are curious about my choices about God, click on the ‘WhyGodForever’ label.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
