Power in Weakness
The Lord “gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” In that way, those who hope in the Lord are made strong when weak. From Isaiah 40:28-31 (NIV – New International Version): Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired… Continue reading

Oils and the Bible
Some stores that sell Bibles also sell scented oils. This seems to be because (or the thinking behind that seems to be that) oils could be very useful to Christians and the right oils must be made available to them. The Bible provides examples of how oils could be used. Continue reading

Bible verse
Darkness is associated with evil. Isn’t it interesting that eyes are associated with light? John 12:35-37 Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” Continue reading

The Future
I like today’s verse at BibleGateway.com (see pic below). I saw this verse all over (at several locations, in different states) in the US. From this verse I get that God does not want me to fail. I should trust that everything will work out..on that path unwinding. Of course, I would like Almighty God… Continue reading

ABOUT ME
I am working to be published. In the next few months, I would like to publish my PhD papers as well as lessons from my life.
I am on a break from PhD studies at National University, formerly Northcentral University (NCU). At NU, I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. Usability/user experience is one of my topics. Click on the ‘usability’ label/tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. I have new ideas you may be interested in. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag. If you are curious about my choices about God, click on the ‘WhyGodForever’ label.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
