Sweetest Mangoes
Good morning from Linden, Guyana! I just saw a post on the ten sweetest mangoes in the world. I was surprised that a mango from the Philippines got the number 1 spot. I expected to see more mangoes from the Caribbean on the list. The Jamaican Julie mango was the only mango from the Caribbean. Continue reading

World IP Day
On Twitter/X today, I saw a post on World Intellectual Property (IP) Day. I believe World IP Day will be on April 26th. It appears that the post is for people to obtain information on the use/development of social media materials for the day. It seems interesting, but I need to learn/understand more. I am Continue reading

Morning Walk; City I Would Choose
Good morning from Linden, Guyana! I went out for a walk today. It was a little misty and cool – about 68 degrees Fahrenheit. I just saw an interesting post on Twitter/X that requested an answer on the city I would choose to spend the rest of my life in. I could not decide on Continue reading

Journal Search
I am currently deciding on a journal to submit my research to. I think it should be a journal that publishes papers on careers, preferably one that does not have very strict or rigid requirements (one that publishes more informal papers). A Google search provided some good options. The page https://careerwise.ceric.ca/2020/10/15/career-development-academic-journals/ includes career development journals from around Continue reading

Flashback Friday On Golden Apples
FlashbackFriday Remembering the delicious fruit drinks and icicles my great aunt was known for. I especially liked the golden apple drink – drink/juice made from golden apples. It was really good. There is no golden apple-flavored “soft drink” available in stores (much like there is a tangerine soft drink – Icee Tangerine – available for Continue reading
FEATURED
I am working to be published.
I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. My main area of specialization is usability/user experience. Click on the ‘usability’ tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
