I am writing this over a cup of tea.

WordPress prompt for today 6/23/2026: What’s the best advice you’d give to someone younger than you?

There are lots of advice out there based on good and bad experiences in life (lessons learned). One of the lessons I would like to share is: you can accomplish significant goals (great things) if you take things step by step. This is the same as saying ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day.’ Not so long ago, I decided that a professor/research job would be better for me. I thought through the steps/tasks needed to obtain my desired position (“reach for the stars”) and completed task after task in pursuit of the goal.

I am working to be published.

I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
