Saw an interesting book

I was busy reading up on Hemingway. I found quite a few of his poems online. In other news, a book on simple winning caught my attention. I thought it was unusual.

My comment on the book:

This seems like a good book. The topic surprised me.

Simple is not a bad word. Simple is necessary sometimes. Simple may be a good place to start. Add complexity later. I remember the perfect competition model in economics (reminds me of Lipsey). It is simple on purpose – the assumptions reduce the complexity to lead to a much better understanding of markets. Simple could lead to better understanding.

Simple is associated with less detail (maybe glossing over details sometimes) and the removal of important options/nuances. There is a negative connotation.

ABOUT ME

I am working to be published. In the next few months, I would like to publish my PhD papers as well as lessons from my life.

I am on a break from PhD studies at National University, formerly Northcentral University (NCU). At NU, I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. About THIS BLOG

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
