Trial and Error
Many experts recommend the use of trial and error in a person’s life. Trial and error could be used to figure out what sports and physical activities you enjoy most, what career is best for you, what diet works best for you, and so on (more examples provided in this article by A. Lord: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/trial-error-method-success-andre-lord).… Continue reading

It’s been really hot in Linden, Guyana! And, more heat is on the way! I am sure I will continue to drink countless bottles of water and other beverages. The weather for Linden shown in Fahrenheit and Celsius: 92 degrees Fahrenheit = 33 degrees Celsius. Continue reading

Word for Today
‘Easy-breezy’ is a word in the dictionary – a word that has a hyphen. I recall that it was used in ads for CoverGirl, but it is reported to be a word not used much in written English (see below). It is the word for today. I would like to think that my difference is… Continue reading

Dietary Restrictions
I had Guyanese black pudding yesterday. It is made with animal blood. I recall that I asked about dietary restrictions for Christians during bible study at the Wildercroft Church of Christ. I was told that the dietary restrictions from the Old Testament (the need to stay away from foods such as pork meals and blood)… Continue reading

FEATURED
I am working to be published.
I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. My main area of specialization is usability/user experience. Click on the ‘usability’ tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
