Word for Today
‘Easy-breezy’ is a word in the dictionary – a word that has a hyphen. I recall that it was used in ads for CoverGirl, but it is reported to be a word not used much in written English (see below). It is the word for today. I would like to think that my difference is Continue reading

Face Value
Is there a need to think through everything you are told? Is there a place for ‘taking things at face value’ ? In my opinion, people and places are a lot more complicated. A simple example is my name. Fahmeena Odetta Moore seems Indian or even Muslim but I am neither Indian nor Muslim. I Continue reading

FEATURED
I am working to be published.
I completed 11 signature assignments – significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. My signature assignments available at: https://fahmeenaodettasignaturepapers.tumblr.com.
About THIS BLOG
I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly – I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.
I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ tag in the tags section below for my last status update. My main area of specialization is usability/user experience. Click on the ‘usability’ tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the ‘success’ tag. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the ‘lindenguyana’ tag.
I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
